Daisy Braid – DigiStamps4Joy challenge #141

Hello Everyone!

Today starts the new DigiStamps4Joy challenge #141 and I am the Host for this month. Since my birthday is in October 21st I chose the theme “Anything Goes with the Option Happy Birthday”
So come join the fun and play with us, you can participate with any image you want and you have a chance to win some great images!
And you can find many more images in the DigiStamps4Joy shop.IMG_20170927_181440For my card today I have used the image called Daisy Braid.
I printed the image on Bristol smooth paper and colored it with Polychromos pencils.
I die cut the pattern paper and the image with Simon Says Stamp – Scalloped Stitched dies and I adhered them on a white card base.

For the sentiment I have used my brand new NBUS chipboard words from Make it Crafty
I colored them with alcohol markers and I am so in love with them, they are perfect because you can color them with the same colors as your image.

For the inside of the card I used the left over die from the pattern paper and a Happy Birthday die cut sentiment.

So there is my creation for today,
I had a lot of fun making it and I hope you like it!

Thank you for visiting!

I would like to participate to the following challenges:

NBUS challenge
A bit more time to craft
Classic Design Team Challenge
Simon Says Stamp – Wednesday Challenge
Dies R Us challenge

  1. Love your coloring on that gorgeous braid and the paper you chose is perfect to really set it off! The inside is just as cute as the outside! Thanks for joining our weekly challenge at QKR Stampede!

  2. Your pencil coloring is so professional, Olga! That braid is gorgeous! I love the way you scalloped the edges of the panel and the pretty patterned paper you chose! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #12! Hugs, Darnell

  3. That is some fab coloring with the polychromos. You’ve got the depth and highlights on the red braid done so well. Like the fall colors of the sentiments, and the background dp, pretty design also. Love how you’ve decorated the inside to be just as pretty. Well done! Bet working with the red shades was a bit on the difficult side. I’m terrible with the pencils, but have found the polys to work better than any of the others I’ve tried. They blend so nicely, as you’ve shown on the braid. TFS & Hugs

Thank you so much for your comment! It always makes me so happy when I read them! xoxo Olga
