Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!
The Winter Olympics are almost finished and if you are following them you probably already know it and if you don’t I have to tell you that Norway did extremely well with over 30 medals! I am very proud of my husband’s country! And that is why I wanted to create a card for him that would celebrate this incredible achievement.
I have colored the image with the “No line” technique.
I printed the image on watercolor paper using MW and the washout coloring effect so that the lines would be barely visible. I also printed the image with the normal black lines on a printer paper so that I could look at it and make sure I would follow the lines.
I used Carioca Aquarelle pencils, a Nr 1 and a Nr 2 brush to color the image.
To create the Olympic rings I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in Pale Gold.
The sentiment is a chipboard from Make it Crafty.
I colored the backing of the word with white acrylic paint and the word itself with gold acrylic.
I also used texture paste with a palette knife to create the effect of snow.
And I finished the panel with some glossy accents on the glasses, glitter stickles on the hat and white gel pen for the stars.
I adhered my scene on a Kraft card base.
I had so much fun coloring this image and creating the card and I hope you like it.
You might want to pin the pictures on your board for later reference and inspiration.
