Unicorn Dreams

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I am sharing with you the card that I created for the coloring challenge over at Make it Crafty. And this month the theme is “Add Extra Details”.

Like every month I love to play with their challenge as it makes me stretch my imagination, creativity and coloring skills.

Feel free to subscribe to my blog if you want to see more of my cards and please let me know in the comment section what do you think of my card.

For this card I chose this lovely image called Unicorn Dreams.

I printed the image on Bristol smooth card stock and starting doodling on the clothes of the girl. Then I started doodling on the background, I wanted to create like a fairy tale like environment.
To color everything I used my pearlescent watercolors.
After the image and background were dry I used a 2B graphite pencil to create some shadows.

Unfortunately it doesn’t show very well on the pictures but when you tilt the card and catch the light you can see that subtle glittery effect.
I adhered my panel on a kraft card base.

I had so much fun coloring this image and creating the card and I hope you like it.

You might want to pin the pictures on your board for later reference and inspiration.

Thank you for visiting me today,
