September Challenge Christmas cards Facebook Group – Card #2

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!
Today I am sharing with you my Design Team inspiration card that I created for the September challenge over at the Christmas cards Facebook group and the theme is “Anything goes option Leaves”.
One of our Sponsors this month is Conie Fong  and she is kindly giving away 3 images as prizes and one of them which I have used for my card today is called Noelles Gift.

I printed the image on mixed media card stock and colored it with Polychromos pencils, I also used the Polychromos Hex chart by Sandy Allnock to help me choose and coordinate my colors.

Once I was finished with the coloring I fussy cut the image.
On a white card base I adhered the pattern papers and I also added a red velvet ribbon to give an extra texture to my background.
I trimmed a thin strip of pattern paper and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink on my Stamping platform to get a perfect impression and I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
The sentiment is from the set Poinsettia Tangle by Dare 2 B Artzy.
I then adhered the pattern paper with the sentiment on the top part of my background and added the image with foam tape.
To finish off the card I added dots of Nuvo Crystal drops on the mistletoe and on the background. With a white gel pen I added some highlights on the image.
It was so much fun coloring this image and creating the card and I hope you like it.
This month we are Sponsored by:
Please feel free to pin the pictures on your board for later reference and inspiration.
Thank you for visiting me today,
I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:
